Thanks for a great evening last night, for your wonderful voices and music. Mathew and I were enthralled, but we already know and love you. My cousin Paola and my friends Cinzia and Ian were amazed and enjoyed the show way beyond their already high expectations ( I had obviously told them how fabulous you ladies were). Can't wait to see you next - probably here. Unfortunately I can't make this Thursday - go get 'em! Alessandra Satta Front-of-House Music Manager Royal National Theatre |
Just to say what a stonkingly superb gig you did last night. I thought your voice was on wonderful form and I loved the selection of songs. What are you up to generally at the moment? Hope it's all going well whatever it is. xxxclare |

After
seeing Martha and Eve for the first time last night we were very
impressed and would like to be put on the mailing list: either
e-mail or postal. Thanks for a great night x x

Your music's out of this world, you're both gorgeous and Martha your hair looks fab!!!! |

First of all, thanks for a sparkling Sunday night at the Purcell Room. You get oceans of a variety between you. Your harmonies are fab, and the mallet work made those numbers sound like Phil Specter productions. Also, letting you know The British Library have now preserved your work and made it ever available to the researching public! |
I look forward to seeing you both on the 14th at the Vortex. Your performances as you no doubt have already heard are pretty electric. I have been following you guys since your inception and I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every performance that I have had the pleasure to attend. |

Knocked
out by your performance at purcell rooms !!!. Having previously
only seen you perform from behind, it was a great pleasure watching
you from an audience perspective. You seemed very in touch with
your emotions and had total control reflecting your inner peace
to the room.I think that's called being professional, but you are
both much more than that!!!!!! Anyway good luck with the music
the show was great . |
Just to say how much I enjoyed seeing you perform at The Purcell Rooms last Sunday. We brought some "Virgin" friends who thought you were wonderful too! I think I agree with your Mother about that song she wanted you to sing, Eve. It was brilliant and really showed your voice off. What have you got lined up for 2002? |

Just a quickie to say that I love the new album, Stay. It's powerful, exciting,
moving, stirring, emotional, fun, right there, honest and more.
I'll have to check out your previous album which I have seen on
sale at
Trehantiri. Are you performing live in the near future? Please advise. Agapi kai filia kai kales epitihies |
You & Martha sang like demons possessed. I loved it, especially the Turkish song that you sang as virtually the last no. The passion that you exude together is really great. Thank you so for such a wonderful night! |

A quick note to say that I really enjoyed your concert on 30th Dec 01 at the South Bank. It was really moving. I went with my woman partner and the youngest child (girl 11), who thought it was going to be really boring going to a concert with us two, and to see women not in their teens or twenties... Well, she was really participative and got into singing herself (she loves singing), joining in into your Cypriot teachings and not to mention helping herself to the poppers in the spare seats! That was lovely too. We have 3 of your albums (white tape and latest two CDs) and had fun with your public rumblings about how many you had together... I love your music, particularly the first song in your latest album, really and I keep on playing it, as if trying to learn something about life in the now. I am Spanish myself, lived in UK for 23 years and am now 44. I also am a singer, though I don't sing as often as I would like to -except when extraordinary things happen, such as Pinochet's arrest in 2000 (not every day a dictator gets arrested...) and then I do benefits and whatever I'm asked that I believe in. Is there a story you don{t mind sharing behind your 3rd song? "ese niño...". I'd love to know it. Anyway, there you go, I thought I'd send you a wee message to say thank you, bravo special women! to declare my fan attributes and introduce myself to you, as another singing hybrid (so special and strengthening for me to see two mediterranean women with wild hair (as I have) singing their hearts out... you have such great voices... never keep them quiet or to yourselves, please -not that you would-). |
Thank
you so much for a wonderful evening at the Komedia on Christmas
Eve. We had taken up your offer and brought two friends (one of
whom was bought your discs as a surprise Christmas present for
her partner) and they in turn brought a third. I also sent info
re the Purcell Room to two London friends. We were so thrilled
that you sang "our song" - "Will You Still Love
Me Tomorrow?" again, as our 40th anniversary celebrations
are well and truly over, it was nice to be reminded of the fun
we had earlier this year. THANK YOU for giving us this pleasant
memory of Christmas 2001. Hope the show in the Purcell Room was
a huge success. Looking forward to seeing you again.

My partner and I saw you and Eve at the Purcell Room on 30 December....how enormously we enjoyed your concert. You were both superb - theatrical, passionate, entertaining, funny. At times we were in tears because of the intensity of your singing and playing. We were very impressed by your own compositions, and also by your interpretations of longstanding favourites of ours such as Ne me quitte pas, Piece of my Heart and Stormy Monday. You and Eve gave us an evening of entertainment that well remember as a highlight of 2001. Incidentally we live very near to the Vortex in Stoke Newington and twice have found the place sold out when we tried to book to see you. Good for you but unfortunate for us! Do you have plans to perform there again? I would be so delighted to hear from you. |
We did indeed make it to the show Eve!! Both you and Martha have great voices, though where you get the power from your little body I don't know lol. (come to think of it, you had a powerful voice even at 11 !) All in all, we had a very good night, thank you xx As you say, here's to a happy new year! [did you like the Greek accent there ;-) ] |

I really
enjoyed STAY and it's something I'll listen to again and again.
Loved the last harmony on Go there, the drama of Child, the clean
guitar in Alright, the line 'don't hate loving me' on Raining,
your version of If You Go Away which is one of my favourite songs-
the only version of which I know (naffly) is by Barbara Dickson,
wanted to know more about Soldier...I like your sound very much...Need
to listen more. Where are you next performing? You did tell me
but I can't remember. Anyway, thanks very much for the CD.
